Twitter + Wordpress

It took a while and a bit of trial and error (sorry about that to all of you who subscribe to my feed) but now I think it’s finally working.
I’ve got my Twits on your right and my blog posts will pop-up and be linked in my twits.
This way you can follow my blog or my twits and don’t miss a think. Ain’t it wonderful :)

Twitting

I’ve created a twitter account now that I have my new phone. I’ve quickly drawn the twits into the blog on the right hand side, I’ll do something about the layout when I have a few minutes to spare.

If you want to follow my twit you can do so here or at http://twitter.com/carlnordenfelt.

Oh, and I haven’t forgotten about the write up on the phone, just not done playing with it just yet :)

New Phone

My new phone is here!
So far I haven’t had time to play around with my new HTC Hero but I’ll probably spend a couple of hours with it tonight :)
So far it looks good. A little slow in the interface but not so slow that I’ll start throwing it around in frustration (that’s a good thing might i add). I’ll give you a proper write up once I’ve gotten used to the thing.

Come Sail Away With Me

Elin finally persuaded me to join her parents on their sail boat over the weekend.
We took the bought out Friday evening from Muskö and sailed out to Rånö where we stayed over night.
The next morning we cruised out on the sea for a few hours before we wrapped it up and headed back to the harbor. We decided not to stay out another night due to the weather forecast for Sunday.
It was quite nice even if I might not be as fired up about it as Elin is :)

If you’re interested, here’s a map showing a very rough overview of the route we took:

Training Gear

Elin and myself rode our bikes to Länna today, about a 20km round trip.
Once there I purchased some training gear to prepare for the autumn. Now I have proper t-shirts and pants, a wind jacket and a zip sweat that should keep me warm even during the winter :)

Me Can’t Phone Home

I broke the screen on my phone today rendering the entire phone completely useless and I don’t have a clue how it happened. I would have provided you with a shot of the phone but my phone’s busted so I can’t…

On top of this my old phone, which I’ve saved as back-up for situations like this has somehow successfully destroyed itself by making the battery grow to about twice the size it should be. Again, don’t have a clue how that’s happened. The third phone in the house, Elin’s old, doesn’t work well since her trip to India. It keeps asking for the pin code every other second while the phone runs in the background. Somewhat annoying to say the least. Argl!

Hitting the tracks on wheels

I rode my bike to and from work today. 25km in total and it took about 1hour 20 in total (40 minutes to work and 40 minutes back home). Hard work but easier than I thought it would be. And i only ran two red lights, or one and a half actually :)

Third Time’s the Charm

It’s time for yet another Bacon Explosion.
This time I’ve prepared by buying really good meat, and lots of it.
Or how does 2 kilos of thick cut bacon, 2 kilos of salsiccie, one bottle of liquid smoke (electric bbq has it’s downsides), salad, garlic bread and two kinds of barbecue sauce sound?

DN-Galan

My dad won two tickets to DN-Galan and since he couldn’t go himself he gave the tickets to me.
I took Elin there and we enjoyed an evening of Track & Field in real life instead of in front of the screen.
It was a bit cold with the weather not being all that great and a chilly wind on top of that. I didn’t bring proper clothing so it cost me a three day cold but it was good fun with the highlight being the 100m sprint run where Tyson Gay managed a good time of 9.78 seconds. The wind was a tad to hard though so he didn’t beat the old record but I must say, it really is faster when you see it live than it seems when you watch it on TV :)

Photos? Of course. As usual you’ll find all the photos you’ll need at photo.nordenfelt.com

Out Running Again

Second time this week, about 3.5km this time. Feels really good.

Regarding the shoes, that I received a couple of comments on, I’ve bought a pair at Löplabbet. The fit like a glow and give me the support I need. They cost €150 so they’d better do the trick :)
