Alright.
One beer done. Or almost done. Bottled a week ago so it still needs a few more days but I had to try it. 
It’s nice. Too malty for my taste. Really need to add more hops next time. Lesson learned.
That said, for a first attempt at brewing beer I am more than happy.
It tastes more like Bishops Finger than a proper American Pale Ale which was what I was going for.
It’s really a pale ale gone bad but in a good way.

ABV = (OG – FG) * 131
Example:
SG = 1.062 FG = 1.015
.062 – .015 => .047 * 131 = 6.157% ABVv
