I’ve joind the dark side again

Sadly it is true.
I’ve opened a new facebook account. I realized that I need one…
I won’t be posting much stuff on it though, just the bare minimum.

Going for Green

I started a golf course last weekend and I’ll finish it this weekend.
Attending a course won’t make me a player or give me a green card but it’s a start, I hope to have the green card by midsummer :)

The Pirate bay Convicted

First of all, what just happened?
Second, was this really thought through?

This conviction is hilarious. And it’s absurd.
It’s already been clarified that The Pirate Bay in itself isn’t illegal, the conviction concerns the opportunity provided to download illegally, there’s a very big difference in this and it’s a difference that makes the conviction absurd.

What it basically says is that any website, server, connected peripheral equipment etc. that in anyway makes copyrighted material available to the public is providing an opportunity to perform illegal actions with intention.
What kind of sites does that? Of course we have The Pirate Bay and tons of other file share sites.
But we also have Google, Flickr, youtube… the list is long. I’ve probably posted copyrighted material on this very blog so I guess I should be locked up as well.

What to do, what to do… I need to get my head around this one, might post more on the subject later.

SVT Jumped the Gun a Bit

The news just landed, the four men behind The Pirate Bay has been convicted.
Yet, you can find this on svt.se if you look around a bit.

http://svt.se/2.22620/1.1523194/friande_dom_i_pirate_bay-malet :)

We’ll see how long it takes them to take it down.
11:25 – still up

Photo gallery updates

I’ve updated the photo gallery.
All photos are hosted on Flickr now instead of locally. This means that I’ve done a bit of rebuilding to integrate with Flickrs APIs. It turned out very nice and it wasn’t that hard to do :)
