I’ve been travelling a lot the past year and I was wondering how far I’ve been flying in total so I have accumulated all the number and this is what I got:
Stockholm – New York: 6,336 x 2 = 12672
New York – San Francisco: 4,139 x 2 = 8278
Stockholm – Vienna: 1,244 x 4 = 4976
Stockholm – Dublin: 1,633 x 2 = 3266
Stockholm – London 1,436 x 4 = 5744
Stockholm – Chania: 2,736 x 2 = 5472
London – Hong Kong: 9,646 x 2 = 19292
Hong Kong – Sydney: 7,349 x 1 = 7349
Cairns – Melbourne: 2,317 x 1 = 2317
Melbourne – Hong Kong: 7,389 x 1 = 7389
Total: 76 755 km
the circumference of the earth at the equator is 40,076 km.
Conclusion: I have travelled 1.9 laps around the world in one year only counting flight distance. Cool
