photo live for real this time
after a lot of hard work, blood, sweat and tears it’s finally live, for real this time. I’ve made a ton of updates the past few weeks improving a lot and adding a lot.
I’ve spent the evening uploading photos from aussie land and the us, more will come, and it’s looking good.
I also want to mention that the Google Earth function (the 3D-map) doesn’t work in Internet Explorer but I can honestly say it’s not my fault. The API is still in it’s beta stage and google are aware of the bug. I managed to create a work around for FF but just barely and IE just won’t bite. Sorry about that.
Also you should note the new photo link from the blog and all the rss feeds attached to the gallery. ( i hope they work)
Please report any bugs on the gallery on the blog and not with photo comments since that really isn’t the place for it. I’d gladly receive feedback aswell.
I’ll post something shortly about integration with google maps/earth and something about the tremendous amounts of javascript i’ve written to make the gallery work. I owe a lot to jquery and I reallyfeel like spreading my knowledge on the subject.
