After 33 hours in the air and on diffrent airports across the world we finally made it to Sydney. The trip wasn’t that bad and I even managed to get some sleep.
We landed at 6:30 am and made our way to the hostel. This was easier said than done. We had forgotten to bring the adress and the taxi drivers English was really bad. Eventually we found it though 
After check-in we walked downtown. It takes about 20 minutes to come to the outskirts of central Sydney from the hostel. We spent the rest of the day walking around central Sydney just looking around and doing a bit of shoping. We took a ride on the monorail, really not that exiting. All in all I’m not really impressed with the city. I expected moore from it but maybe the next couple of days will change my mind.
The hostel is nice. Due to a misunderstanding with the bookings. We have a private room instead of living in a dorm. Guess there will be plenty of time for dorms later
We’re going to Bondai Beach today. Looks like it’s going to be hot so it seems like the most sensible thing to do I’ll tell you more later.

I’m at the airport now, the flight to London is delayed by 40 minutes, nice way to start this trip It’s cold here in Sweden but summer is just a couple of hours away…

It’s time to announce that the first section of nordenfelt2.0 has been released.
It’s a photo album and you can find it at http://www.nordenfelt.com/photos/.
When I come home from Australia I plan to add some RSS support to it and then go forward with the blog.
The pictures in the album are just test pics, I’ll upload the real pics from the US trip before I leave for australia.
Please feel free to give me feedback on the album.
I currently know about one issue where the loading animation sometimes doesn’t dissapear when viewing the full size photos but it’s a minor issue and I’ll fix that later.

Sorry for not writing in a couple of days but I’ve been really busy preparing for the trip both at home and work. I will try to write some more before I leave but there’s no time right now.
Meanwhile I’ll leave you with a photo of the cats we are getting. Enjoy
