Australia Day 2 – Bondi Beach
A perfect world… there was only one thing missing today; a fruit drink.We just got back from a day in the sun at Bondi Beach. The weather was perfect with the sun high in the sky and not a cloud in site. A calm cool wind made the temperature perfect. (hrm… I hear Christmas music from around the corner just now. I can’t describe how strange it is to have people saying merry Christmas and see all the ordnanents etc when it’s 25 degrees outside) The water was cold at first but I think it was probably being hot and not the water that was cold. Huge waves, one of them literally knocked me off my feat, strong currents, a bit scary a few times and a nifty ball (wazuba ball, google it) made the water a fun place to be.We’re back at the hostel now having a couple of beer before going out to meet a friend of Helenas.
