I have just read “How to make love like a porn star” by Jenna Jamesson. It basically her memoirs and covers most of her life up until now. A very interesting story and really worth the read.
And yes Holger, it does contain images. No explicit nudity though, it has been censored out. Still a lot of boobs
After a half day session about design patterns I must say I haven’t really learned that much new but it’s still very intresting. If nothing else just because you realize that, ‘Hey I already do that without knowing it’.
In 1½ hour I’ll be on the train to the west coast to spend a relaxing weekend with my father and sister. I really hope that the weather will be fine, it has been raining a lot down there or close to there.
*Phew* Im just done with a full day session of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), ESB(Enterprise Service Bus) and JMS (Java Messaging System). It was tough but interesting
We’re gonna have a second session tomorrow and I’m really looking forward to it.
Time for me to get my ass home and relax in my sofa for the rest of the evening. Hopefully my newly ordered DVD, Zach Braffs new film The Last Kiss, has arrived
It’s been 2½ months since the last time I wrote here and evidentally, Holger won’t give up. I know I promised, or at least promised to try, to write twice every week. I think that lasted for about half a week. I’m going to make a new attempt and I think I have ome up with a plan that just might succeed, we’ll see. Anyway, since Holger seems to be the only one reading my blog, which might have something to do with the fact that it was 2½ months ago I wrote, this one is for you baby
I have to recuperate the past few months and I’ll probably wander back and forth in time but I hope that’s alright.
Just last week I was officially made Technical Project Manager at work. I have been working as one for the past few months but now it’s for real. It feels really good and they seemed very pleased with my work so far so I have nothing but good expectations for the future workwise. Apart from the promotion work is pretty much the same. It’s fun, social, exiting and runs forward at a very high pace at all times. Not much time to stop for a breather but that’s the way I like it.
At the moment I am trying to convince one of my very vest friends (you know who you are) to come work with us but he’s not easy to persuade. Hopefully he’ll come to his senses and realize what great fun it would be to have me as his team leader and, of course, drink beer every other Friday as we do at the office (on the house)
I spent midsummer with my friends and their friends and their friends etc. We ended up being a company of roughly 40 people in a house that could muster about 20. Great fun, a lot to drink, good food and a few hours spent in the sauna. We did have some bad luck with the weather but that’s no different from how it usually is. The only thing I missed at the party was Holger and Kerstin but hopefully we will arrange for them to come here some other time.
Me and my girlfriend have been talking about moving in together recently. It’s pretty much decided that we will do it but not when. I am looking for a bigger place and will move as soon as I find one I like and she’ll be free to move in whenever she wants to. I’m really looking forward to it and it seems I have shocked quite a few people with this
I went to Sweden Rock with a bunch of friend in June. Not much to say about it really except for that it’s a rock festival in Sweden (hence the name) and that we had a great time listening to good music and drinking beer. The only exceptional thing that happened there was that I saw Aerosmith live for the first time in my life. This might not seem like such a big deal but I’ve been listening to them since I was 6 years old so it was a big happening for me.
Me and my sister have finally bought tickets for Australia. We meant to go last year but we both got new jobs and I found an apartment and so so there really was no time. This time it’s for real. We have paid for the tickets and the flight leaves winterly Stockholm the 18th of December and lands in summery Sydney on the 19th. For 5 weeks we are going to backpack our way from Sydney to Cairns where we will hopefully do some diving before going back home again. We haven’t planned the trip yet apart from what I just wrote but I’ll keep you posted.
My Wii has been running hot lately. I have a bunch of fun games and I must say that just hanging out, drinking beer and having a few laughs with my friends playing Wii is a really nice way to spend a weekend, last Saturday we played for 19 hours straight
Wii rocks!
I think that’s all for now. I’ve probably forgot about half of all the fun stuff I’ve been up to the past months but that’s what happens when you try to remember it all at once. I am really going to try and update more often but don’t expect too much.
Oh, in case I don’t write, I’m going to my father summer house this weekend with my sister and I’m going to my mothers summer house with my girlfriend two weeks after that
